Job Overview
Flames Group of Companies is seeking a skilled and versatile Accounts and Administration Officer to support financial management and administrative operations.
The Role
The Accounts and Administration Officer will be responsible for managing accounting records, financial reporting, and key administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, and variance reports
- Process accounting entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Manage taxation processes through the MRA online system
- Maintain internal controls, payroll administration, and support strategic financial planning
- Prepare bid and tender documentation
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Handle banking transactions
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable
- Manage petty cash and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain organized filing systems for the accounts department
- Perform general administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- At least three (3) years’ experience in finance and administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
