OVERVIEW
St. Michael’s Guilleme Community Hospital, a Catholic institution under the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our team.

POSITION: Accounts Assistant
REPORTING TO: Accountant
DEPARTMENT: Finance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record financial transactions, manage petty cash, issue receipts, and prepare payment vouchers and invoices
- Assist in preparing financial reports, bank reconciliations, and maintaining organized financial records
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and support auditors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Accountant or Finance Officer.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field, Diploma is an added advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel/Word
- Good numerical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy.
