JOB DETAILS:
Background
Ekhaya Farms Foods, a subsidiary of Ekhaya Group of Companies and a fast-growing retail food chain in Malawi, is seeking a vibrant, dedicated, and experienced individual to join our team in Lilongwe and Blantyre.
Responsibilities
Ability to process invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, maintain financial records, prepare journal entries, and generate routine financial reports accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
- MSCE plus Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance within a retail or commercial environment.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, financial record management, and supplier account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with ERP system experience being an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
