JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team in Lilongwe, Area 3.

Position Details

Role: Accounts Intern

Location: Lilongwe, Area 3

Duration: 6 months

Qualification Required: Diploma in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry.
• Support preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Help with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
• File and organise financial documents.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports.
• Support the accounts team with any other assigned duties

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advantage)
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
