CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

GENERAL VOLUNTEER – ADMINISTRATION, PROGRAMS & COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Job Purpose

We are seeking passionate, committed, and reliable volunteers to support our organization across various operational and program areas. Volunteers will contribute their skills and time to strengthen organizational activities, support communities, promote accountability, and help mobilize resources for sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, implementation, and coordination of organizational programmes and activities.
  • Assist with administrative, financial, and documentation tasks.
  • Support monitoring, data collection, reporting, and evaluation of projects and activities.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, communication materials, and project documentation.
  • Support media, public relations, social media, and communication activities.
  • Participate in community outreach, mobilization, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with identifying and engaging potential partners, donors, sponsors, and other resource providers.
  • Support fundraising and resource-mobilization initiatives.
  • Assist with legal, compliance, risk-management, and security-related activities within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, field activities, and community programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, fellow volunteers, community members, and partners.
  • Promote the organization's mission, values, and objectives.
  • Perform other volunteer duties relevant to the assigned area of support.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant academic or professional background in related field is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use common digital tools.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and present information accurately.
