Primary Function
The Administrative Assistant will support the Operations Specialist with administrative and coordination tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Healix office. The role requires professionalism, organisation, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Based in Blantyre, responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support across office and technical operations
- Maintaining accurate physical and digital filing systems
- Managing calls, emails, and correspondence
- Coordinating calendars, meetings, and appointments
- Preparing reports and supporting client documentation
- Arranging travel logistics and bookings
- Supporting stock takes and reporting
- Tracking service call-outs and assisting with PM scheduling
- Managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Handling sensitive information with confidentiality
- Representing Healix in a professional manner
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
Education
- Diploma in (Business Administration required)
- Bachelor’s degree (advantageous)
Key Skills
- Strong organisation and time management
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Discretion and professionalism
- Experience in a technical or laboratory environment is an advantage
Technical Proficiency
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Providing administrative support across office and technical operations
