OVERVIEW
The Malawi Olympic Committee (MOC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Administrative Assistant, tenable at its Lilongwe office on a full-time basis.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:
- Business Administration
- Office Administration
- Management
- Secretarial Studies
EXPERIENCE
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Background or experience in sports or sporting administration will be an added advantage
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Well-organised and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- Receive and welcome visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence

- Perform general administrative and secretarial duties
- Maintain office records, files, and databases
- Schedule meetings and manage appointments
- Assist with office logistics and office supplies management
- Provide administrative support to staff and management
- Carry out any other duties as assigned
