EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Duty Station: Mzuzu Hub Office

Overview of the Role

The Administrative Officer provides essential administrative and logistical support to program activities, supporting the Chief of Party in planning, coordinating and implementing administrative services to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff travel, accommodation and transport.
  • Support meetings, schedules and logistics for guests and clients.
  • Manage attendance, liquidations, requests and project-related invoices.
  • Prepare and update staff airtime lists.
  • Coordinate administrative and operational activities across departments.
  • Monitor, stock and order office supplies.
  • Prepare reports, letters, memos and other administrative documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Business & Administration.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate, particularly in MS Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and a high workload.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support is desired.
