Fidelity Labour Consultants are recruiting for their client in the security industry for the position of Assistant Operations Officer – Risk & Investigations. This role supports security risk management and investigations to protect people, assets and operations.

Responsibilities or duties

• Assist in conducting security risk assessments at client and company sites.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend risk-mitigation measures.
• Assist with investigations into theft, fraud, loss, security breaches, misconduct and other incidents.
• Conduct fact-finding, interviews and gather information in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive investigation and incident reports.
• Maintain secure and confidential investigation records.
• Analyse incident patterns and emerging security risks.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance checks.
• Follow up on implementation of recommendations.
• Support development and review of security procedures and controls.
• Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders when authorised.

Qualifications or requirements

• Relevant qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Investigations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent observation, interviewing and report-writing abilities.
• Good computer literacy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• High degree of integrity, objectivity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and undertake field assignments when required.

Experience needed

• Relevant practical experience in security operations, investigations, loss prevention or risk management.
