There is Hope (TIH) is looking for a Temporary Bible School Teacher with a bias in Theology at its Lilambwe Centre opposite Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa. Anyone who meets the following requirements can apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
Qualifications or requirements
- Applicants must be born-again Christians.
- Applicants must have minimum of a Diploma from an accredited school in Theology, Bible, or other related fields. Knowledge and qualifications in human rights, gender, community development and psychosocial counselling is a requirement.
- Applicants must be able to teach fluently in English and Chichewa; fluency in Swahili is an added advantage.
- Applicants should have previous experience in teaching and pastoring of a church.
- Applicants must be willing to abide by There Is Hope standards and values.
- A minimum of a Diploma from an accredited school in Theology, Bible, or other related fields. Knowledge and qualifications in human rights, gender, community development and psychosocial counselling is a requirement.
- Should be between the ages of 30 and 55
- A clear testimony of salvation by grace through faith and a steadfast commitment to following Jesus Christ for at least 10 years.
- Applicants must be able to teach fluently in English and Chichewa; fluency in Swahili is an added advantage.
- Have previous experience in teaching and pastoring of a church for not less than 3 years.
- Be willing to abide by There Is Hope standards and values.
