INTRODUCTION

Telekom Networks Malawi Plc (TNM) is looking for a suitably qualified person to join our team as a Business Enterprise Services Director.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Business Enterprises Services Director shall be responsible for the provision of strategic direction, leadership and general administrative oversight to the Enterprise Business Services Department, for business services revenue and subscriber growth in line with the overall TNM business strategy.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes a clear vision for the Enterprise Business Services department from revenue to behaviour.
  • Develops the TNM Enterprise Business Services annual business plan in line with the TNM strategic business plan based on analysis and market research.
  • Devolve the annual business growth plans into monthly, quarterly and weekly plans.
  • Strategizes effective sales techniques for the Enterprise Business Services department revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identifies and builds strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and clients for an insight into market trends and business growth.
  • Provides a synopsis on the management of the Enterprise Business Services customers, guides team members in developing technical and commercial service/product proposals, tenders or offers for submission to potential clients.
  • Oversees the management of Enterprise Business Services contracts in line with SLA agreements and TNM policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with the product development teams in the continued development and enhancement of new products and services.
  • Ensures customer incentives structure is aligned to KPls for churn, customer loyalty and that customer experience and retention initiatives are effective and efficient.
  • Ensures that the Enterprise Business Services departments projects are delivered with utmost speed.
  • Monitors trade stock levels to ensure that TNM does not miss out on business opportunities.
  • Controls Enterprise Business Services customer debts to acceptable levels.
  • Researches latest developments in the market and ensures competitive advantage and positioning.
  • Manages the Enterprise Business Services department including structure updates, staff performance, leave and learning and development of staff.
  • Develops and monitors the Enterprise Business Services department budget.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any business-related programme.
  • Master’s degree in sales, Marketing, Finance, Economics or any business-related field will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in sales and marketing in telecommunications or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of ICT, project management, financial management and marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • High level understanding of the market dynamics.
  • Innovative mindset, ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, business operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Business planning and presentation skills.
  • Strong capability in building strategic, multilevel relationships.
  • Stakeholder relations management, and strong problem-solving skills.
