KEY COMPETENCIES

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of construction methods, contracts, measurements, and claims
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare material schedules, measurements, and valuations
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on interim claims and payment certificates
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and consultants on claims and valuations
• Prepare quotations, variations, cost estimates, and cost reports
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and final accounts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Diploma holders: Minimum of 4–7 years relevant construction industry experience
• Degree holders: Minimum of 2 years and above relevant construction industry experience
• Experience in claims management will be an added advantage
• Membership with a recognized professional body will be an added advantage
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
