We are looking for individuals to help shape a wellness experience that brings together Malawian warmth and heritage with aromas, flavours and rituals from around the world.

Responsibilities

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility. This includes guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and restrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.

Restroom & Public Area Upkeep:

• Sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers.
• Replenish consumables (soap, toilet paper, tissues).
• Maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, and elevators.

Guest Room Service (if applicable):

• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels.
• Ensure rooms are fully stocked with amenities.

Safety & Compliance:

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; high school diploma is a plus.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move furniture or heavy trash bags.
• Strong attention to detail.
