CONDUCTORS

Reporting to the Senior Inspector, the coach conductors will be responsible for the following:

• To issue tickets to passengers
• To reconcile and account for all ticket sales
• To conduct coach pre-departure checks
• To ensure each passenger is sitting on the right seat and politely directing them to their seats o make proper announcements to passengers on departure, in-route and at all stops
• To provide and ensure good customer service on board and serving them with courtesy and in a friendly manne
• To take care of company and passengers properties and report any defects, complaints and lost luggage
• Any other duties assigned to you from time to time by Management.

Qualifications and skills

• MSCE and 5 years experience in courier and passenger transport businesses
• Those with Certificate in the travel and tourism industry will have an added advantage Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer conflict and complaints
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Professionalism, smart, courtesy and ambience towards customers, and co-workers.
• Flexibility to work odd hours, weekends and/or public holidays
