Times Capital Finance (TCF) Limited is a subsidiary of The Times Group. CF is a non-deposit taking Microfinance Institution established to provide financial services to low-income individuals and small businesses within Malawi.

The service offering includes the provision of loans and financial literacy with the long-term vision of offering a full bouquet of microfinance products and services.

TCF Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to till the vacant positions tenable at its Head Office Area 4. Off-Chilambula Road, Lilongwe as detailed below:

CREDIT MANAGER

Reporting to the CEO, the Credit Manager will oversee credit operations across all service centres, ensuring efficient credit processes, quality portfolio growth and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive credit portfolio growth in fine with approved budgets and targets.
• Supervise credit analysis, loan booking, monitoring. collections and reporting
• Ensure effective risk management, loan recovery and portfolio quality control
• Support branches with credit underwriting, staffing and process improvements
• Co-approve branch credit applications with the CEO
• Lead development of innovative credit products and digital financial services
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements and RBM regulations
• Prepare credit performance and board reports as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management within the financial services
• Strong credit analysis, portfolo management. and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, coaching. and computer skills
• High level of professionalism and integrity

Level of Education: bachelor degree
