Job Overview

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting microfinance operations, including group formation, loan management, reporting, and client engagement, while ensuring portfolio growth and sustainability.

The Role

  • Facilitate group formation and training
  • Manage loan portfolios effectively
  • Conduct loan collection and disbursement
  • Monitor group performance and dynamics
  • Prepare activity and monthly performance reports
  • Support implementation of projects
  • Supervise and coordinate loan officers (where applicable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Group formation and training
  • Portfolio management
  • Arrears collection
  • Reporting (activity and monthly performance)
  • Enhancing group dynamics
  • Loan disbursement and recovery
  • Problem solving and client support
  • Supervising and coaching team members
  • Performing any other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field
  • At least 1 year experience (or no experience for entry-level consideration)
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle or bicycle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic reporting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with groups and communities
