OVERVIEW
Green Hills Academy private secondary school, situated in Mwanza district is looking for suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacant positions.
DEPUTY HEADTEACHER - 1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Headteacher in the day to day running and administration of the school
- Oversee academic programs, timetable and curriculum implementation
- Supervise teachers, monitor lesson delivery and student's academic progress
- Handle student discipline and welfare matters
- Act on behalf of the Headteacher in his/her absence
- Coordinate co-curricular activities and school events
- Ensure proper record keeping and preparation of school reports
Qualifications and Attributes for Deputy Headteacher
- Bachelor's Degree in Education from a recognized institution
- Must be registered with the teachers council of Malawi
- At least 5 years teaching experience and 2 years experience serving as Deputy Headteacher
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and team player
- High sense of responsibility, discipline and integrity
