Job Title: Driver (Heavy Goods Motor Vehicle) (3) Re- Advertisement
Department: Kamuzu Barrage
Grade: NW 7
Location: Liwonde
Reporting to: Kamuzu Barrage Manager
Purpose of the Job
- Effectively dispose of weeds harvested from the weed boom at Kamuzu Barrage.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive/operate dump trucks (tippers)
- Ensure that logbooks are properly maintained for each trip, daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes and greasing
- Coordinating maintenance schedule and insurance for vehicles and informing administration when renewal is due.
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Must have a clean and valid driver’s licence of code C with PrDP G, backed by five (5) years’ experience
- Experience in dump truck (tipper) operation
- Good eyesight and must be physically fit
- Must have no criminal record.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: associate degree
