JOB DETAILS:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Agricultural Trading Company Limited is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Driver at its Regional Offices in Mzuzu and Limbe. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving and managing company vehicles on scheduled trips.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• Valid Driving Licence Class C1 or above
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Defensive Driving Certificate (added advantage)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.)
• Ensure vehicle roadworthiness and report insurance/COF renewal dates
• Update log books with mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, and trip records
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety at all times
• Drive company vehicles on assigned errands
• Advise supervisors on vehicle maintenance needs
• Promptly report breakdowns or accidents
• Produce periodic vehicle running reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
