Job Description

To drive and distribute CP live chickens directly to customers while ensuring animal and timely delivery in assigned routes and markets.

Responsibilities

• Drive Live Sales vehicles to assigned routes and markets to sell and distribute live chickens.
• Support Live Sales Representatives during loading, sales, and stock handling.
• Work on a 24/7 shift basis as required to support live bird sales operations and deliveries.
• Handle and transport live chickens properly to minimize mortality.
• Monitor bird health, feed, water, and ventilation during transit and sales.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and prompt reporting of mechanical issues.
• Adhere to biosecurity, hygiene, animal welfare, and food safety standards.
• Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
• Represent CP professionally and uphold the “Great Every Time” brand promise.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping.
• Must be between 30 and 45 years of age.
