Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain motors, control panels, PLC systems, instrumentation, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Support production operations by minimizing electrical downtime and improving equipment efficiency.
- Implement electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and upgrading of electrical systems.
- Work closely with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to improve plant performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered with relevant engineering professional body.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food processing, oil milling, soap manufacturing, or similar industries will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCS, automation, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
