Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain motors, control panels, PLC systems, instrumentation, transformers, and power distribution systems.
  • Support production operations by minimizing electrical downtime and improving equipment efficiency.
  • Implement electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, and upgrading of electrical systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to improve plant performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered with relevant engineering professional body.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food processing, oil milling, soap manufacturing, or similar industries will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCS, automation, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
