JOB DETAILS:

K&J Projects Private Limited, India is currently preparing a proposal for an international consultancy assignment under the Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity Project (SATCP).

Responsibilities or duties

Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design, Preparation of Tender Documents for Construction of Two Inland Vehicle Weigh Stations, and Construction Supervision of Liwonde Weigh Station along:

• Zalewa – Mwanza (M006) Road
• Liwonde – Zomba (M003) Road

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Qualified professionals with relevant experience in highway engineering, transport infrastructure, weigh station design, and construction supervision, preferably in World Bank / internationally funded projects.

Experience needed

BSc in Surveying or a BSc in Civil Engineering previous experience of at least five (5) years in setting out and survey control with not less than documented experience in the capacity of Surveyor on at least two (2) road projects of similar size and nature in the Region of Sub Saharan Africa.
