Job Description

On behalf of Njiri Farms, Agrinet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Manager to manage agricultural productions at Airwing in Lilongwe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing mixed farm productions throughout the year.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and writing farm operation documents such as gross margins and work plan.
  • Managing farm operations according to the written plan.
  • Making strategic decisions for farm growth with limited resources.
  • Budgeting, financial management, control expenses and maximize profits.
  • Keeping farm records, monitor farm performance and optimize farm operations.
  • Identifying markets for farm produce, negotiate prices and build relationship with buyers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is Diploma in Agriculture or any related field from accredited university in Malawi.
  • Knowledge and experience in maize, rice, tomato and mushroom production.
  • Three years of experience in the related field.
  • Marketing skills and ability to operate the farm profitably.
