Role and Responsibilities

• Advising the General Manager and Board on financial matters in the company in his capacity as Financial Manager.
• Developing the company’s financial strategy to ensure the company achieves sustainability in its operations.
• Providing strategic financial leadership to the Board and Executive managers through financial analysis and guidance.
• Guiding and overseeing the overall finance function in line with the Company’s set goals and adherence to organizational and individual performance management system (PMS) requirements within all the operating areas of the finance division.
• Ensuring timely production of: – Annual Performance Management Plans and Budgets and budget revision, in accordance with relevant Chombe Foods Limited Policies; and Integrated Strategic Plan, audited financial statements, in accordance with IFRS and compliance with relevant legislation; and other financial reports to aid strategic planning, resource mobilization, and engagements with Chombe Foods Limited.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Should be a Charted Accountant
• Proven working experience as a Finance Manager.
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and Finance experience.
• Diploma/Degree in accounting
• CPA or CMA preferred.
