JOB DETAILS:

Loyal Private Secondary School is inviting applications from suitably qualified, competent, committed, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

• Head Teacher

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Head Teacher

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a senior teaching position such as Head of Department, Deputy Headteacher, or Senior Teacher.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage school resources and finances.
• Ability to maintain discipline and improve academic performance.
• Good professional record and adherence to Ministry of Education policies.
• Ability to teach Science, Humanities, or Language subjects.
• Applicants must clearly indicate the subjects they can teach in the application.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Head Teacher

• Provide leadership and strategic management of the school.
• Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Manage school resources and finances.
• Maintain discipline among learners and staff.
• Improve academic performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education policies.
• Teach assigned Science, Humanities, or Language subjects.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 48

Level of Education: bachelor degree
