OVERVIEW

Tendo Private School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Head Teacher.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in educational leadership in a reputable [school]
• Must be a practicing Christian, active in a local church
• Must provide a referral letter from a traceable Church Minister
• Must be a self-starter and result oriented individual

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and head the school management team
• Oversee curriculum implementation and academic performance
• Supervise and coordinate all school activities
• Develop and implement school plans, budgets, and policies
• Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of learners’ progress
• Manage staff performance, mentoring, and workload distribution
• Maintain school facilities and ensure a safe learning environment
• Promote good governance, communication, and public relations
• Prepare and present school performance reports to the Board

The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Governors.
