Role and Responsibilities

The Head of Security will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the company’s employees, assets, and facilities.

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of staff, assets, and facilities
• Oversee the security operations team and provide leadership, guidance, training, and support
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate potential threats
• Collaborate with management and other departments to integrate security measures into all operational areas
• Monitor security systems and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in security technology to strengthen the company’s security posture
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in security management
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth understanding of security principles, practices, and current threats and vulnerabilities
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available on call when required
