HEADMASTER / PRINCIPAL
Position Summary

The Headmaster/Principal will provide strategic, academic and operational leadership for the Academy. The successful candidate will establish high standards of teaching, learning, discipline, student welfare and school administration while fostering an environment that reflects the Academy's Islamic ethos and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the Academy.
• Lead curriculum planning, implementation and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, mentor and evaluate teaching and support staff.
• Develop school timetables and oversee effective academic programmes.
• Monitor student achievement and ensure high standards in assessment and examinations.
• Oversee admissions, student records and reporting systems.
• Manage school budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Provide leadership for boarding operations, student welfare, safeguarding and discipline.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians and stakeholders.
• Promote continuous school improvement and a positive learning environment.
• Uphold the Academy's Islamic values and professional standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant degree with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in secondary education.
• Proven senior leadership experience as Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster, Head of Department or an equivalent leadership role.
• Demonstrated competence in curriculum management, staff supervision, timetabling, assessment, examinations, school improvement, admissions, budgeting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing boarding-school operations, student welfare and safeguarding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and school management systems.
