Role and Responsibilities
Reporting To: General Manager
The Human Resource and Administration Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organisation’s Human Resources and Administration functions in line with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Lead performance management and organisational development initiatives
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Support current and future business needs through effective development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other employee-related issues
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies, systems, policies, and procedures across the organisation
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in HR operations, including management of contracts, benefits, payroll, employee data, and background screening
- Strong understanding of HR risk management and governance
- Proven success in developing people plans and implementing HR initiatives aligned with business goals and delivering measurable results
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive role
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
