SALARY: Within the Grade I salary scale segment
POSITION QUALIFICATION
Applicants must be Non – serving, holding a Bachelor of Education or a general degree with University Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained from accredited institutions; OR Serving Secondary School Teachers at Grade TJ with a minimum of four (4) years’ teaching experience at that grade; OR Serving Primary School Teachers holding a Bachelor of Education or a general degree with University Certificate of Education (UCE) from accredited institutions. The applicants must be registered teachers with the Teachers Council of Malawi.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidates will carry out the following duties:
- Identify and prepare teaching and learning materials
- Prepare Schemes of work and maintain Records of work covered
- Devise methods and resources of teaching and assessing students
- Create and maintain a conducive teaching and learning environment
- Maintain students' discipline
- Conduct students' formative and summative assessments
- Maintain all classroom records
- Liaise with parents/guardians regularly on issues of learner performance
- Attend to all school activities as may be required
NOTE:

- The applicants must be registered teachers with the Teachers Council of Malawi.
