1. Shift Maintenance Team Leader

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Additional Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct shift handovers and communicate effectively with outgoing and incoming teams.
  • Monitor and ensure optimal performance of plant machinery and equipment.
  • Identify faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians to enhance team efficiency.

2. Shift Fitter

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Experience: 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fitting, assembly, and installation of mechanical components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose faults and replace defective parts as required.
  • Assist in shutdown maintenance and plant overhauls.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and operational standards.
  • Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.

3. Shift Welder

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Experience: 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various plant structures and equipment.
  • Carry out repair work on metal components and pressure vessels.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication jobs.
  • Inspect welded joints for accuracy and structural integrity.
  • Maintain and calibrate welding equipment and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all welding operations.
  • Collaborate with fitters and engineers during maintenance and installation projects.

4. Maintenance Preventive Fitter

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Additional Qualification: Degree
Experience: 4 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities on all machinery.
  • Inspect, service, and lubricate equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and report potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance records and update service logs.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop maintenance schedules and checklists.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards during all maintenance work.

5. Senior General Fabricator

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Additional Qualification: Degree in Engineering
Experience: 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform high-level fabrication and metalwork projects.
  • Supervise junior fabricators and allocate tasks efficiently.
  • Design and fabricate components according to engineering specifications.
  • Inspect and maintain fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Ensure fabricated structures meet safety, quality, and dimensional requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to modify and improve production components.
  • Manage workshop inventory and materials for fabrication projects.

6. Maintenance Planner and Expediter

Minimum Qualification: Grade 3 Trade Test
Additional Qualification: Degree in Engineering
Experience: 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records and job plans.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and expedite procurement as needed.
  • Track maintenance progress and ensure timely task completion.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improve reliability.
  • Communicate maintenance schedules to team leaders and supervisors.
  • Support budgeting and resource planning for maintenance operations.

7. Maintenance Spares and Tools Control

Minimum Qualification: MSCE
Additional Qualification: Certificate in Logistics
Experience: 2 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of maintenance spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and issue materials upon request.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering to prevent shortages.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of tools and spare parts.
  • Support the maintenance team by ensuring timely tool availability.
