JOB DETAILS:

Background

EKHAYA LUXURY RESORT, a subsidiary of Ekhaya Group of Companies based in Mangochi, is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant position.

Key Requirements:

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and food safety practices.

Understanding of cleaning chemicals, detergents, and proper usage in a food service environment.

Ability to support chefs with basic food preparation.

Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and handling heavy kitchen equipment.

Strong sense of cleanliness, teamwork, and willingness to learn and support kitchen operations

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
