LAUNDRY ATTENDANTS
Job Purpose
The Laundry Attendant will ensure that students' and institutional laundry is washed, dried, ironed, folded, stored, and handled hygienically and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry according to type, colour, and washing requirements.
- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and organize clothing, bedding, towels, and other fabrics.
- Operate washing machines and laundry equipment safely.
- Use detergents and cleaning products appropriately.
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or missing items.
- Maintain laundry records where required.
- Report damaged equipment or shortages of supplies.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized laundry area.
- Follow infection-prevention and safety procedures.
- Handle students' personal belongings respectfully and confidentially.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous laundry experience is an advantage.
- Ability to operate basic laundry equipment.
- Good knowledge of laundry hygiene and fabric care.
- Reliable, organized, and physically capable of performing laundry duties.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
