JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities or duties

• Teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Develop and teach new courses
• Supervise research projects
• Participate in scholarly activities
• Serve on University Committees
• Undertake other assigned duties

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• PhD or Master of Education in Curriculum Studies or Teacher Education (Geography Education) plus Bachelor of Education (Geography) with credit or upper second class.
• Teamwork
• Progressive subject knowledge
• Interest in teaching and interdisciplinary research
• Evidence of scholarly publications (for Senior Lecturer and above)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience needed

• Two (2) years of teaching experience at tertiary level is an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
