About Maryam Girls Teacher Training College

Job Overview
The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering instruction in foundation studies and languages, supporting trainee teachers, and contributing to the overall academic development of the college.
The Role
- Deliver lectures in English and Chichewa
- Support student teachers in their academic and professional development
- Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
- Contribute to teacher training programs
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Foundation Studies and Languages courses
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Support practical teaching and training sessions
- Participate in academic meetings and college programs
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (majoring in English and Chichewa)
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (added advantage)
- Experience in Primary Education and Teacher Training (TTC) is required
