JOB DETAILS:
Malawi College of Education (MCE) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and diploma programmes, supervise research and teaching practice, and contribute to curriculum development, research and community engagement.
Key Requirements
- Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a higher qualification (preferred).
- Teaching experience in higher education is an added advantage.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
- Research publications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent teaching and facilitation skills.
- Good ICT, communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and diploma courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments.
- Supervise teaching practice and student research projects.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work.
- Participate in curriculum development and programme review.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship.
- Serve on College committees and participate in community engagement activities.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
