Job Summary:

The Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer will teach, conduct research, and support clinical training in Paediatrics & Child Health and Obstetrics & Gynecology. The role involves both classroom instruction and clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in theory and clinical practice.
  • Develop and review syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
  • Supervise students in clinical rotations and skills labs.
  • Conduct and publish clinical and/or biomedical research.
  • Participate in patient care, case discussions, and hospital rounds (if clinically qualified).
  • Engage in continuous professional development and faculty meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • For Lecturer: Master of Medicine (MMed) or equivalent in Paediatrics/OB-GYN; PhD is an advantage.
  • For Assistant Lecturer: Bachelor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) with teaching/research experience; pursuing a Master’s/PhD.
  • Medical licensure and clinical experience (for clinical teaching roles).
  • Teaching experience in a medical school is preferred.
