Role and Responsibilities

Reporting To: General Managing Director

The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the overall management of lodge operations, ensuring excellent guest experience, staff performance, and efficient use of resources.

  • Ensure guest safety at all times while delivering excellent end-to-end customer care
  • Provide a professional front-of-house service and promptly resolve guest issues and complaints
  • Develop and implement cultural, social, and environmental activity programs for guests
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to staff to continuously improve service standards
  • Conduct regular stock-takes, inventory checks, and general maintenance inspections
  • Manage petty cash transactions, reconciliations, and proper documentation
  • Ensure staff clearly understand their daily duties and effectively meet all operational objectives

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in a management role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods
