Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail and Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Malawi. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail distribution channels and upholding compliance standards across our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage retail operations, including inventory management, stock control, and sales tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in retail and compliance processes.
  • Train and supervise retail staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare regular reports on retail performance and compliance status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in retail operations and management.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or development sector is a plus.
