The Role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Media Sales Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a passion for closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and acquire new clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop proposals and close high-value deals
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage client accounts and ensure excellent service delivery
- Follow up on outstanding payments (debt collection)
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Provide market and product feedback to internal teams
Requirements
- Relevant University Degree (Business, Marketing or similar)
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (media/advertising preferred)
- Experience working with Sales CRM systems
- Strong B2B sales experience
Skills & Competencies
- Results-driven, self-starter with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Ability to analyze data and generate insights
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Effective team player with strong relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel across Africa
