About the Role
Friends of CCAP Students Organization (FOCCAPSO), invites applications from qualified and committed Christian professionals for the position of National Coordinator This pivotal leadership role offers an opportunity to serve God's kingdom by leading and managing the FOCCAPSO National Secretariat, providing strategic, administrative, and spiritual leadership that aligns with our vision, mission, and Christian values.
The National Coordinator will oversee program implementation, coordinate branches across the nation, mobilize resources, and engage stakeholders while supporting the broader mission of CCAPSO and the CCAP Church.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Strategic Management
Provide visionary leadership and operational oversight of FOCCAPSO's programs, staff, and resources. Lead strategic planning and serve as the principal liaison between the National Executive Committee and the Secretariat.
2. Program Coordination
Coordinate worship meetings, fellowships, outreach initiatives, workshops, and training activities. Support CCAPSO branches in secondary schools and tertiary institutions, and facilitate the launching of new branches.
3. Spiritual Guidance
Promote Christian values, encourage spiritual growth among staff and members, and organize worship and fellowship activities.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with CCAPSO, CCAP Church, educational institutions, government agencies, donors, and other stakeholders. Represent FOCCAPSO at public events and forums.
Resource Mobilization
Identify funding opportunities and oversee financial management in line with policies and Malawian law. Ensure prudent budgeting and reporting.
6. Human Resource Management
Recruit and develop staff, establish operational policies, and oversee administrative functions.
7. Monitoring and Reporting
Implement systems for evaluating program impact and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Development Studies, Education, Social Sciences, Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience in program coordination or organizational management.
- Demonstrated commitment to Christian values and active church involvement.
- Proven experience in resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience with youth ministries, church-based organizations, or alumni associations
- Knowledge of CCAP structure and operations
