JOB DETAILS:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of NIGHT AUDITOR tenable at Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu (1) position.

Responsibilities or duties

• Handling check-in and check-out processes.
• Respond to guest’s complaints, requests and emergencies during the overnight.
• Process invoices, post checks, reconcile accounts and prepare for forecasts and audits.
• Keep accurate financial records and ledgers as well as balancing a cash-drawer and log receipts.
• Any other tasks as and when required by the management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Degree or Diploma in hospitality management or any other related field.
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) as minimum qualification with passes in English.
• General knowledge of Property Management System of Hotel Master System.
• Good communication and customer service skills, an eye for detail and availability to work overnight.
• Pleasant demeanor when interacting with Hotel Guests and ability to multitask as well as problem solving.

Experience needed

• At least five years of experience working in a similar position.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: associate degree
