JOB DETAILS:

POSITION: Nurse Midwife

Job Summary:
The Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive nursing and midwifery care, supporting patients before, during, and after childbirth while promoting maternal, newborn, and general patient health.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing and midwifery services.
• Monitor maternal and newborn health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Educate patients on maternal and child health.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Observe infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing and Midwifery.
• Registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous clinical experience is an added advantage.

Preferred Location:

Applicants should preferably reside in Airwing or nearby areas, including Chitipi, Njewa, Mtandire, and Msiliza.
