1. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Office Cleaner will be responsible for keeping office spaces clean, organised, and hygienic in order to create a safe and pleasant working environment.
2. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mop and vacuum floors.
- Clean desks, windows, and office furniture.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and kitchens.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissues.
- Report maintenance or safety issues.
- Follow health and safety cleaning standards.
3. QUALIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
4. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
- Reliability and honesty.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Previous cleaning experience will be an added advantage.
