We’re looking for an Operations Internal Auditor who is curious, detail-driven, and passionate about strengthening systems, reducing risk, and improving the way we work across our operations in Malawi and beyond.

What you’ll do

You will play a key role in protecting and strengthening our operations by:

  • Conducting internal audits across branches and booths to assess risk and compliance
  • Analysing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and control gaps
  • Delivering insightful, high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations
  • Partnering with management to implement improvements and track progress on audit findings
  • Evaluating internal controls and advising on stronger governance practices
  • Identifying risks and supporting the business in mitigating them effectively
  • Contributing to the annual audit plan and broader reporting to leadership structures

You are someone who combines strong analytical thinking with practical problem-solving and a passion for operational excellence.

You bring:

  • A BCom or Internal Auditing qualification (or similar)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in operational or branch auditing
  • Solid knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and governance
  • Experience recommending improvements to systems and controls
