THE COMPANY
Times Capital Finance (TCF) Limited is a subsidiary of The Times Group. CF is a non-deposit taking Microfinance Institution established to provide financial services to low-income individuals and small businesses within Malawi.

TCF Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to till the vacant positions tenable at its Head Office Area 4. Off-Chilambula Road, Lilongwe as detailed below:
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will oversee day-lo-day operations across all branches and service points to ensure efficient service delivery, operational excellence and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role includes supporting business operations, coordinating resource allocation, strengthening internal controls, ensuring smooth systems operations and managing risk and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with procedures and controls
- Support implementation of safeguards against frauds and operational risks
- Ensure timely submission of operational and management reports
- Monitor branch cash flow, loan processing. collections and service turnaround times
- Work closely with IT and systems teams to ensure reliable and secure operations
- Follow up on audit and regulatory queries and ensure timely resolution
- Support performance management and staff supervision across branches
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the financial services sector
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching and mentorship skills
- Proticiency in MS Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
