PV Technician (2 positions)

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair photovoltaic (solar) systems and associated equipment.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine system requirements and optimal panel placement.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure efficient operation.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Document work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage and basic maintenance.

Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma / Grade 1/TEVET Level III.
  • Minimum of 4 years of wide experience in the relevant field.
  • Able to work with low supervision and be goal-oriented.
  • Those with a Driving Licence have an added advantage.
  • Ready to report to the Lilongwe Office.
