SALES AND MARKETING OFFICERS-Lilongwe Head Office (2 Positions)
Internship Position
Responsibilities:
- Assist in promoting and selling company products and services to existing and potential clients.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Participate in field visits and client meetings to present products and gather feedback.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries promptly.
- Support the coordination of marketing events, exhibitions, and brand awareness activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- Fresh graduate or with up to 1 year of relevant internship experience.
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and sales techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region (for field activities).
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage.
