OVERVIEW

HOMECARE Pharmacy, an exclusive and top class leading retail pharmaceutical care provider established in 2023, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of Pharmacy Technicians.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Registered and in good standing with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA)
  • Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy setting. Those without retail experience need not apply.
  • Knowledge of electronic Pharmacy Management Systems will be an added advantage.

Duties in a Retail Pharmacy

  • Dispense prescription medicines accurately and provide professional advice to patients.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain proper records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Supervise support staff and ensure adherence to professional standards.
  • Promote rational medicine use and contribute to community health education.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage procurement, and ensure availability of essential medicines.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and professional integrity.
