About Deluxe Poultry
Deluxe Poultry is a growing commercial poultry enterprise specializing in high-quality egg production. We are committed to excellence in layer management, biosecurity compliance, and sustainable poultry production. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Poultry Veterinary Technician to join our Layers Production Division based in Lilongwe.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement & monitor layer vaccination programs
- Conduct routine flock health inspections & assessments
- Diagnose and manage poultry diseases (layers)
- Administer treatments & maintain medication records
- Monitor mortality, egg production & flock performance
- Enforce biosecurity protocols
- Conduct post-mortem & disease investigations
- Train staff & prepare health reports
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Animal Health, Veterinary Science or related field
- Min 2 years’ experience in commercial layer production
- Strong knowledge of layer diseases & vaccinations
- Good record-keeping & reporting skills
- Ability to work on-site in Lilongwe
- Professional registration (advantage)
